Uniesse Marine Group has bought the assets of Uniesse Marine Spa

Miami-based Uniesse Marine Group LLC has acquired the assets of Uniesse Marine Spa. Terms were not disclosed.

A statement from the company said the acquisition was led by Miami-based SMB Investor, David Schwedel. The company will be operated by Schwedel and Rafael Barca.

Uniesse has built and sold more than 500 boats in more than 25 years of its existence. “We are excited to present a newly designed line of luxury motor yachts from 49ft-115ft,” said Schwedel in the statement.

Barca and Schwedel have been involved with the Uniesse brand for more than 15 years. Barca originally introduced the Uniesse line to the United States in 1994, and was responsible for delivering more than 200 Uniesse motoryachts during that time.

“Uniesse will continue to be designed in America, and manufactured in Italy under our direction,” said Barca, president of Uniesse Marine Group. The company is now redesigning its entire line of motoryachts. The first models will be introduced during the 2019 boat show season.

“We have streamlined operations, consolidated the manufacturing process, and are implementing technology applications which will dramatically enhance the owner/operator experience,” said Schwedel. “Customer service will be completely revamped as our top priority going forward.”
