Martin Bjuve is new Vice President for Customer Support and Training

Martin Bjuve has been named vice president for custom support and training for Volvo Penta of the Americas. The company said that Bjuve will handle support and product training for dealers and customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Bjuve has been Volvo Penta’s chief financial officer since 2013. He has been with Volvo Penta since 2003, with positions of responsibility in finance, parts pricing, and logistics, as well as both parts and engine distribution. Before moving to the US, Bjuve was Volvo Penta’s chief financial officer for Region Europe. Before that, he was head of sales of parts and distribution development in the Nordic countries.

Bjuve will report directly to Ron Huibers, president of Volvo Penta of the Americas. “Martin brings an in-depth knowledge of our market and commercial operations, which will serve him well in his new role,” said Huibers. “His appointment is a reflection of our strong commitment to sustaining the highest levels of support to our dealer network, one of the hallmarks of our business strategy at Volvo Penta of the Americas.”
