The Ferretti Group has entered a licensing agreement with Abarth

The Ferretti Group has entered a licensing agreement with Italian car manufacturer Abarth. The announcement was made at a weekend preview of the new Riva Rivale 56 that Abarth would create a limited-edition car named the Abarth 695 Rivale in sedan and cabriolet versions. The Abarth 695 Rivale will be produced in a production run of 350 cars this year. The car, based on a Fiat frame, runs from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds. It has a maximum horsepower rating of 180.

The partnership springs from common shared values, passion for excellence and research for performance, expressed as always with an unmistakably unique style,” said Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, in a statement.

The Abarth 695 Special and Limited Edition packages with hand crafted details like blue and black hand-stitched leather seats with a special logo stitched onto the headrest, acarbon dashboard silk screen printed with the special logo, the special numbered plate inside and the celebratory badge on the outside of the pillar. The 350-car production run includes 175 sedans and 175 cabriolets. The numbers were chosen to commemorate Riva’s 175th anniversary.
